Veilnote: Invisible Notes
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Boook collects no data. Everything you write stays on your Mac. There is no account, no cloud, no tracking, and no network connection.
The short version
Veilnote: Invisible Notes is a notepad and teleprompter that runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or have access to any of your information. We genuinely cannot see your notes, because they never leave your computer.
What we collect
Nothing. Veilnote: Invisible Notes does not collect personal data, usage analytics, diagnostics, identifiers, location, or any other information. There is no telemetry of any kind.
Where your notes are stored
Your notes are saved locally on your Mac, inside the app's sandboxed storage in your user Library folder. They are never uploaded anywhere. If you delete the app, your notes are removed with it, so keep your own backups if your notes matter to you.
Network access
Veilnote: Invisible Notes does not connect to the internet. The app ships without network permissions and makes no outbound requests. It does not phone home, check for remote configuration, or send crash reports to us.
Purchases
If you choose to unlock Veilnote: Invisible Notes's Pro features, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes the transaction; we never receive your name, payment details, or any personal information. We only receive an anonymous confirmation from Apple's system that a valid purchase exists on your device. For details on how Apple handles purchase data, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
Crash reports
If you have enabled sharing of analytics and crash data with developers in your macOS settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized crash logs through App Store Connect. These contain no personal information and no note content — only technical data about what went wrong, which helps us fix bugs. This is controlled entirely by your system-level settings, which you can change at any time in System Settings on your Mac.
Children
Boook does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content, ads, or external links that transmit data.
Third parties
Boook uses no third-party SDKs, no advertising networks, no analytics providers, and no trackers. The only third party involved is Apple, solely for distributing the app and processing optional purchases.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Because Boook collects no data, we do not expect material changes, but any future version of the app that introduces new functionality will be reflected here before that functionality ships.
