Every device on your network with its name, type, vendor, open ports and latency. Check Services shows what actually runs on a device, down to the server version, and Network Guard tells you the moment an unknown one joins.
Find the best Wi-Fi channel
Every network around you on 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz, drawn across the spectrum it takes up, and the channel your router should move to. Wi-Fi Analyzer then tells you whether lag comes from the Wi-Fi or from the line beyond the router.
Know the moment something goes down
Websites, servers, the NAS and the router, checked on a schedule by ping, TCP port, HTTP(S) or SSL expiry. You get a notification, the status sits in the menu bar, and checks keep running with the window closed.
Prove it to your ISP

What can Netutilus do?
Netutilus brings back what Apple removed with Network Utility, and then some: Internet Check, ping, traceroute, MTR, port scanning, DNS, SSL, Whois, GeoIP, speed tests, iperf3, a LAN scanner, uptime monitoring and Wi-Fi analysis, in one native Mac app, with no Terminal required.
What replaced Network Utility on the Mac?
Apple deprecated Network Utility in macOS Big Sur and removed it in Monterey, leaving ping, traceroute, whois and port scans to the Terminal. Netutilus puts them back in a native window, alongside the LAN, Wi-Fi and monitoring tools Network Utility never had.
Is Netutilus free?
Yes, and most of it stays free: Internet Check, Speed Test, ping, traceroute, DNS, Whois, SSL, port scanning and the menu bar status. Does Netutilus need an account or send data anywhere?
No accounts, no tracking, no cloud. Network requests go only to the hosts you test, and nothing about you is collected or transmitted.
